About the TCS Sydney Marathon 10km presented by ASICS

The TCS Sydney Marathon 10km presented by ASICS is an AIMS certified accurate 10km course, allowing participants to tackle the Sydney Harbour Bridge before finishing at the Conservatorium of Music.

Age restrictions:
No scooters or handcylcescrank cycles are to be taken onto the course.
Rules:
Your entry fee includes your race bib, timing tag and finishers medal.
Entry fee inclusions:
There is no bag drop service available for the TCS Sydney Marathon 10km.

Choose the start group that is the right fit for your predicted fitness level
Make sure you're in the right starting group if you're a slower runner, jogger, or walker. The TCS Sydney Marathon 10k has 4 start groups, all seeded based on expected finish time. Your time won't be impacted; the timing chip only starts recording when you cross the start mats to the finish line mats. This lets you enjoy the event at your own pace and achieve your best result.

The TCS Sydney Marathon 10km official results will be based on Gun Time. Participants will receive both Gun Time and Net Time on their finisher certificates.
All prams and wheelchairs must only be in the final start group of the TCS Sydney Marathon 10km (D Group).
The preferred start form will be available in November 2024.
