With the marathon starting at 6:30 a.m. and the 10km starting at 8:45 a.m., you can still watch Kipchoge race through various parts of the Sydney CBD (Barangaroo, Martin Place etc.) before you run. The start line in North Sydney is a quick metro ride away from both Barangaroo and Martin Place stations. Please note that we encourage all participants to arrive to the start venue one hour before the start of their race. As the start cannot accommodate all runners, please ensure that you do not arrive more than an hour before the start of your event.
At this stage, unfortunately, we have not yet confirmed the start time for the TCS Sydney Mini Marathon 4.2km event. More information will be available to Mini Marathon participants in the next few weeks.
Unfortunately, the elite athlete warm-up area is closed to spectators. We encourage you to stake out a spot - or multiple - on course to watch Kipchoge when he passes.
We will have a list of global TV providers on our website closer to the event. The race will also be streamed live on our YouTube page here.
